　　 Approved by the State Council, China 2011 - 27th Asian International Stamp Exhibition will be held 11-15 November 2011 in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. The exhibition is sponsored by the State Post Bureau, Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, China Post Group Corporation, All-China Philatelic Association, and is organized by Wuxi Municipal People’s Government. The exhibition is the third international stamp exhibition to be held in China since the two successful exhibitions in Beijing and Mianyang of Sichuan Province, respectively in the year of 1996 and 2003. Its purpose is to promote full development of the philatelic cause in Asia, international cultural exchange, and all-round development of the host area.
　　According to the requirements of the preparatory work, designing of exhibition halls are open to public bidding. The details are as follows:
　　Introduction of bidding subjects
　　The exhibition will be held in Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center. Located in the core area of the Taihu New Town, Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center has Zhenze Road to the south, Gonghu Avenue to the east and Shangxianhe Wetland to the west. The Expo Center has 4 exhibition halls. The south hall on the first floor will be the exhibition hall which is to display 1300 frames of competitive and non-competitive stamps with an area of 7800 m2; The north hall on the first floor will be the sales hall which has 250 sales booths and an area of 7800 m2; The south hall on the second floor will be the comprehensive exhibition hall and the north hall on the second floor will be the functional service hall. The bidding subjects are the comprehensive planning, designing of the exhibition hall and sales hall on the first floor, designing and constructing of non-standard and standard booths, designing and constructing of key promotion booths.
　　Wuxi Asian Stamp Exhibition will attract the participation of 31 countries and regions, and is expected to attract more than 25 million domestic and foreign tourists. Project design and construction, internal layout is required to fit the exhibition’s theme on promoting “a green and charming stamp exhibition in Wuxi”.
